Crash Landing

Coming back to the real world is hard! It's a lot harder than I thought it would be. Getting back into school and work just don't seem quite as exciting when there are no field trips to look forward to. Thank goodness for family and good friends who will listen to all my stories. :) I really miss Jerusalem a lot. It definately holds a special place in my heart. I sometimes feel like I've crash landed back into real life. It's definately been bumpy, but it's starting to smooth out now. This weekend I was able to go home and talk in church about Jerusalem - it was scary, but worth it, because I LOVE talking about it - just in case you couldn't tell. :) PLUS I went skiing up at Beaver with Kev. Definately worth a trip home. Thanks Mom and Dad for the passes for Christmas. It was an awesome day skiing and I'm extremely sore right now. So all in all, a great weekend home.

I found out that the JC group that is over there right now set off for Egypt today, so in honor of Egypt...here's more pictures. :)

Pictures!

I'm so happy to report that my computer is finally letting me upload pictures!! It was being so weird the last little while and wasn't letting me put any pics on my blog...that might have something to do with the fact that it seriously has no memory left. :( BUT my wonderful brother-in-law Steve helped me move my pictures onto CD's to free up space on my computer (Thanks Steve!!) and now my computer is working the right way again and I can share my pictures! (but knock on wood, just in case...)

So here is the beautiful land I called home for almost 4 months. I'll put more pictures up when I get more time, but I had to put some up now, especially for Angie. :)

This last one is me and Heidi on the top floor of the Jerusalem Center. What a beautiful city!!
